Exhibit Work

Uproar is a high-energy, competitive, first-person shooter game that embodies the electric adrenaline of winning a game against all odds with your team. This new video game is unique in its gameplay mechanics and competitive features. The game is comprised of four teams of four players battling each other with unique abilities alongside the regular aspects of first-person shooter games. This dynamic game tests your reflexes, team communication, and hand-eye coordination while simultaneously being a fun pass time. I created this project for my senior exhibit to combine my favorite hobbies; gaming and digital art. For the general concept, I used aspects of all my favorite games and combined them into one. The art direction of this project is a combination of digital illustration and graphic design to make compelling advertisements. I used vibrant flashes of color to convey the high energy of the game. Uproar’s logo was designed in Adobe Illustrator, and it depicts a wolf howling upwards as the symbol mark and a modified font for the wordmark. I also made sure to keep the shape of the open mouth of the wolf the same as the ‘U’ in Uproar. The posters for this project were drawn and designed in Adobe Photoshop. This series of posters are meant to draw attention and make the product stand out against similar competitive computer games.
