I got interested in art through anime and superheroes when I was a kid. Since then I tend to gravitate towards nostalgic feelings, trying to recapture how I felt when I was a kid, drawing whatever came to mind without a care in the world. I try to make something that both brings those feelings back out of me as well as enhances them. Forever seeking the next “hit” of nostalgia, trying to make the child I once was happy. I work by trial and error, if a piece isn’t coming out how I imagine I start again. I look at what made the old one work, and improve upon that and fix what didn’t work. Anytime I get really stuck I just take some time off to relax; I listen to music, watch a movie, or go out with friends. Anything to get my mind away from the project until I decide to go back to said project.
