For as long as I can remember, I have created art as a form of self-expression to portray what emotions and thoughts were taking over my brain at that moment and taking advantage of the spark of inspiration for my art. My work progressed from pencil sketching to digital drawings as I developed new skills and preferences throughout several art classes starting in middle school and now through my college career. My philosophy is to make my art relatable to all audiences and to remain simple enough to be understood by all, yet bold enough to have an emotional impact on spectators of all backgrounds. I come from a difficult background which consumes my brain with chaos and endless thoughts, whether they be positive or otherwise. With a full head, is how I produce my best work so that I can properly relay my thoughts and emotions on any medium. Any internal conflict is often overcome by releasing feelings through different artforms with the help of soft music to heal my mind and inspire my heart once again. Art, to me is brief insight to one’s mind and I strive for each viewer or creator to feel heard and represented on a canvas.
