Ever since I could write, I’ve always been fascinated by anything artsy and creative. I loved using colors and exploring the many artforms. My dad taught me the basic of drawings and has always been my number supporter in pushing me to keep practicing and learning. He would always supply with me with anything I needed to practice and better my skill. He’s shown me to learn to embrace the process and always keep pushing for improvement.
The most important part of my work is that viewers are quick to see the main message within my pieces. I want my work to be memorable and stand out from others that may be around. I enjoy using colors and textures in my work. I hope my work inspires others to embrace their own style and learn to convey powerful and memorable messages through their work.
My process of creating a piece involves brainstorming and receiving feedback from others. Whenever I think of creating a piece, I’m quick to come up with ideas and enjoy receiving feedback from others. I like to hear different perspectives and approaches about improving or envisioning a piece. If I ever come across artist block, I tend to take a break and reset my mind to allow myself to refocus and recharge myself physically and mentally. I believe being in a right mindset and giving yourself breaks while creating pieces helps you stay focus and dedicated to complete works.
