Exhibit Work

Burnout is a symptom of the present and a promise for the future, it means we will not let our fires die out and smolder. The drive to create will persevere and overcome any stagnation or overwhelming deadline and ignite into a beautiful tapestry of expression and vibrancy, to display the long hours of work and the drive that went into where we are now.

Burnout tells of the perseverance to continue and make the most of everything life hands to you. This exhibit is a display of the style and drive of every student and what they hope to accomplish in the future, how they plan to push for it and pull victory out of the grasp of adversity.

The exhibit will consist of varying styles and methods of creating art, differing statements made by the majors and how they choose to communicate through their medium of choice. From the ashes of our burnouts we bring art, and all the majesty that comes with it.

My exhibit mainly consists of a poster and map of a fictional reptile zoo known as the Reptile Repertoire. The main point of the poster is to entice any who see it to visit the zoo and begin learning the intricacies of the reptile kingdom and how it plays a vital role in the entire planet's biosphere. Meanwhile the map serves the purpose of showing the layout and various exhibits that can be found.

It is my hope that by enticing people to learn more about reptiles it will work towards erasing the stigma against various cold blooded animals such as snakes and lizards. The design of my exhibit is meant to capture the feel of a tropical rainforest, the natural habitat of many of the reptiles present on the map.

When others gaze upon my art I can only hope that I can be the source of inspiration for another budding artist, I wish to help inspire the future generation of creatives just as the previous generation helped to inspire me.
