Exhibit Work

For my senior exhibit project, I developed a comic book publishing company called Enigma Comics. This brand is devoted to exploring existential themes and the intricacies of human nature, providing readers with immersive stories that go beyond entertainment to stimulate thought and introspection. Enigma Comics was conceived as a space where readers can grapple with life’s most challenging questions and reflect on their personal journeys. The project draws on my favorite philosophical works, including those by Seneca, Dostoevsky, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, whose writings examine the nuances of identity, morality, and purpose—universal themes that form the core of what it means to be human. I envisioned Enigma Comics as more than a simple collection of stories; it’s a series of reflective narratives that encourage readers to explore their own beliefs, confront their inner questions, and find meaning in a vast and interconnected world.

As part of Enigma Comics, I created an original comic titled Galactic Heart. This story follows Lynx, a young protagonist on a journey through a whimsical and boundless universe filled with surreal landscapes and curious inhabitants. As Lynx traverses new planets and encounters unfamiliar beings, he finds himself drawn into an ongoing search for belonging, self-discovery, and purpose. Although crafted with a younger audience in mind, Galactic Heart addresses themes that are relatable across ages, touching on the desire to find one’s place and understand one’s purpose in the world. Through creative world-building and visually captivating art, Galactic Heart is designed to be both entertaining and thought-provoking, inviting readers on a journey that mirrors our own quest for identity and meaning. Ultimately, I hope that Galactic Heart inspires readers to reflect on their lives, encourages them to ask meaningful questions, and leaves them with a sense of wonder about the vast possibilities that await in their own journeys.
