Artist Statement
I was initially drawn to design by my innate curiosity and a deep fascination with colors, shapes, and the visual world around me. Over the years, my interest in art began to evolve into a more specific focus on communication design and expression. My interest in Graphic Design unfolded after the realization that art had the power to convey complex messages, emotions, and ideas in ways that words alone could not. I became captivated by the idea of using visual elements to tell stories, evoke emotions, and communicate effectively with audiences. As a result, my journey from a young art enthusiast to a communication design enthusiast has been marked by a continuous process of learning, experimentation, and self-discovery. Moreover, I have developed a deep appreciation for the role of design in shaping the world around us and facilitating effective communication. What’s most important about my work to me is the ability to convey messages, ideas, and emotions through visual communication. Design is not just about aesthetics; it’s a powerful tool for storytelling and information dissemination. It’s the art of making complex concepts accessible and engaging, which I find both challenging and immensely rewarding. In terms of impact, I hope that my work will contribute positively to society in several ways. First and foremost, I aim to create designs that inspire and connect with people on an emotional level. Whether it's a compelling branding campaign, an informative infographic, or an interactive website, I want my designs to resonate with audiences, leaving a lasting impression and fostering a sense of engagement.
The first step in any design project is to thoroughly understand the problem at hand. This involves engaging in discussions with clients or stakeholders to gather insights, identify goals, and define the project's scope. I ask questions, conduct research, and immerse myself in the subject matter to gain a deep understanding of the context. I believe in the power of creative research. This means not only looking at design trends but also seeking inspiration from various sources, including art, culture, nature, and even unrelated fields. This interdisciplinary approach often leads to unique and innovative design concepts. In order to problem solve I rely on fundamental design principles such as hierarchy, balance, contrast, and alignment to solve visual and communication problems. These principles guide me in making deliberate design choices that effectively convey the intended message and create a visually pleasing composition.
