Get Ready! Pass/No Pass Portal Opens Tuesday Morning

Monday, May 11, 2020 :: Office of the University Registrar

Dear Vaqueros,

We hope you are staying safe and guarding your health as the semester comes to a close.

This email is a reminder that final grades are due from faculty today, Monday afternoon. Beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow, May 12, you will have access to log in to the portal to select which (if any) of your classes you’d like to see graded under the Pass/No Pass option. You will receive an email that contains the link to the Pass/No Pass Selection Portal by tomorrow, May 12 at 8 a.m. If you do not want your grades changed, there is no action you need to take.

You should review final grades in ASSIST before making your selections in the portal. Remember that grades of A, B and C would be converted to a grade of Pass, and grades of D and F would be converted to a grade of No Pass. Neither Pass nor No Pass grades are calculated into your GPA. If you dropped any classes, those will not appear in the portal.

You must review all frequently asked questions posted online regarding Pass and No Pass grades:

There are also some additional questions and answers specific to certain colleges and programs that you’re encouraged to review closely:

If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact us at passnopass@utrgv.edu.

Be safe!

Sofia Almeda Montes, M.Ed.
University Registrar
