2020 UTRGV Distinguished Community Engagement Partner Award Guidelines
- Nominee must be based in the Rio Grande Valley
- Nominee must be an individual community member or a registered nonprofit or government agency
- Individuals/organizations may nominate themselves or be nominated by a member of the UTRGV community (faculty, staff, students, etc.)
- Nominees must have had a partnership with a member of the UTRGV community
- A partnership can be defined as any working relationship between a campus and community constituent for any period of time that has worked together to promote service, service-learning, civic engagement, or engaged scholarship
- The partnership and achievements of the community member or organization should be relevant to approximately the last 12 to 18 months.
Deadline for application: March 27, 2020
Recognition at the Transforming Through Engagement Ceremony:
