Annual Security and Fire Safety Report now available.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety 2021 Report is available for viewing on The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley page at: www.utrgv.edu/police/_files/documents/campus-security-reports/campus-security-report-2021.pdf

A hard copy of the report is available at the University Police Departments located on 501 N. Sugar Rd. (Edinburg), 2671 FJRM Ave. (Brownsville), or 2102 Treasure Hills Blvd. (Harlingen), also by contacting University Police at 956-882-7777.

The report includes crime statistics for the three previous calendar years (2018, 2019 and 2020) that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UTRGV, and on public property within, or immediate adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also contains institutional policies about campus security and safety education, crime prevention programs, and information about the University Police Department.

Fire statistics for the three previous calendar years (2018, 2019 and 2020) and policies regarding fire safety from the UTRGV Department of Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management are also included in this report.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to use this report as a guide for safe practices both on and off campus.
