Easy as 1-2-3! Don’t Forget to Complete the Vaccine Portal!
Dear UTRGV Family:
As we continue to prepare for the Fall Semester, our focus remains on the safety and well-being of our campus community. Understanding the vaccination rates of our campus community is a key part of our commitment.
It is important that every member of our campus community confidentially self-report their vaccination status using the UTRGV Vaccine Portal.
As you can see on the chart below, the vaccination rates of students and employees who have completed the portal so far are each over 80 percent. However, the chart also reveals that many people have not completed the portal.
We recognize that many of you have chosen to be vaccinated elsewhere or have decided not to be vaccinated. Whatever your answer, we are asking that you self-report your vaccination status.
Rest assured that the UTRGV Vaccine Portal is a private and secure website that is only used to track overall results. All personal information is maintained confidentially and, consistent with privacy laws, an individual’s vaccination status will not be made available to other students, faculty, staff, or the public.

You can self-report on the portal in three easy steps, and the entire process should take no more than two minutes:
- Click on the portal link and sign on using your unique UTRGV username and password.
- Once in the portal, select your current vaccination status.
- Lastly, click submit.
