COVID-19 UPDATE: CDC Releases New Guidelines for Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Dear UTRGV Family,
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released on Monday (March 8) new guidelines for individuals who have been fully inoculated with the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Please know that, based on this latest CDC guidance, UTRGV will continue to enforce our current COVID-19 protocols. Consequently, all students, faculty, staff, and visitors, who are fully vaccinated, must continue to adhere to our protocols, which includes the wearing of face coverings and social distancing, when they access our campuses or off-campus facilities.
UT Health RGV continues to vaccinate eligible students, faculty, staff, and community members, and adhering to our current protocols will help us to mitigate the exposure of COVID-19 as we continue working toward creating community immunity through vaccinations.
UTRGV will continue to monitor the evolving guidelines from the CDC and the progress of campus community immunity and, as appropriate, will make changes to our protocols.
Eligible and Willing? Get Vaccinated this Week!
UT Health RGV continues to vaccinate hundreds of eligible members of our campus community on a weekly basis.
If you are willing and eligible, please update your profile on our UTRGV Vaccine Profile - it takes less than a minute to complete!
