UT Health RGV Reopening Its Public-Facing Registration Form!
Dear UTRGV Family:
UT Health RGV is reopening its public-facing COVID-19 Vaccine Interest Registration form!
This form, available in both English and Spanish, is open to the first 10,000 members of our external community who qualify for the vaccine based on the following state prioritization groups:
- Individuals 65 and older
- Individuals with at least one of the following medical conditions
- Diabetes
- Cancer
- Chronic kidney disease
- Immunocompromised diseases
- Chronic lung diseases
- Sickle cell disease
- Chronic heart disease
- High blood pressure
- Chronic neurological diseases
- Body Mass Index of 30 and above (see BMI Calculator)
- Pregnancy
- Individuals who work in pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools, as well as Head Start and Early Head Start programs, (including teachers, staff, and bus drivers) and those who work as or for licensed child care providers, including center-based and family care providers.
First come, First served
After 10,000 submissions are recorded, we will close the platform to process and administer vaccines to this newly registered patient group. Once we work through this list, we will then reopen the public platform for another round of registrations. UT Health RGV is currently administering an average of 2,000 first dose shots each week.
UTRGV Vaccine Portal
If you are a UTRGV student, faculty or staff member, please continue to use the UTRGV Vaccine Portal to record your vaccine status. The external online registration form is only for non-UTRGV community members, so if your loved ones currently qualify under the updated criteria, please encourage them to register.
Thank you for your continued patience and trust as we navigate this vaccination effort.
