As we approach the Labor Day holiday weekend, we want to acknowledge UTRGV employees and the contributions they make to the social and economic well-being of South Texas, the state, and nation.
While Labor Day is traditionally a time for family and friends to get together and celebrate this important occasion, we continue to encourage you to exercise caution in protecting yourself and others from the COVID-19 pandemic by following health protocols. Our continued efforts to follow health protocols - both individually and collectively as an institution - are key to keeping our university community safe and is contributing to the decrease in positive cases in the RGV.
