UPDATE: Return to Campus Guidance

Friday, June 26, 2020 :: University Marketing and Communication

Dear Colleagues:

Please remember that all employees (including student employees), prior to visiting any UTRGV campus/off-campus facilities, are required to review the current version of the UTRGV screening questions regarding COVID-19-related symptoms.

If you answer yes to any of the screening questions, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or have been tested for COVID-19, do not access any UTRGV campus/off campus facilities. Instead, please communicate with your supervisor and fill out the following Preliminary COVID-19 Screening Form. Your information will be reviewed, and a member of our COVID-19 Response Team will reach out to you. Employees may not return to work until they are released by a member of the COVID-19 Response Team.

Supervisors who are informed by their employees about possible COVID-19 Symptoms or exposure should direct the employee to utilize this form to ensure that the COVID-19 Response Team helps to develop a plan of action for the employee, as well as the employee’s work environment.

If you are seen or tested at another site or are diagnosed with COVID-19, also please fill out the form as soon as possible, so that your return to campus can be managed appropriately.

As always, thank you for your patience during this extremely fluid situation. Our primary concern continues to be the health, safety and security of our UTRGV community.
