RETURN TO CAMPUS: COVID-19 Screening Questions
Dear Campus Community:
As we continue to safely and gradually make more in-person university services available, we want to remind all students, faculty, staff and visitors to adhere to the CDC COVID-19 (coronavirus) Screening Questions that will help us maintain the health and safety of our campus community.
Each day, prior to accessing any of UTRGV’s campus/off-campus facilities, review the screening questions below regarding COVID-19-related symptoms. If you answer YES to any of the questions, please do not access UTRGV’s campus/off-campus facilities until your symptoms subside. In addition:
- Students who answer yes to any of the questions are advised to call UTRGV Student Health Services at (956) 665-2511 (Edinburg) or (956) 882-3896 (Brownsville), or their healthcare provider.
- Employees who answer yes to any of the questions are advised to call the Employee Health Clinic at (956) 296-1731, or their healthcare provider. If forced to miss work, please notify your supervisor, who will work with you on leave management.
In addition, it is important that everyone at UTRGV use these universal screening questions developed by the CDC. To download and/or print a copy of the official screening questions document, please click here.
