Beware of targeted phishing campaigns utilizing COVID-19

Friday, March 27, 2020 :: Information Security Office

Numerous UT institutions are currently seeing a great deal of activity in targeted phishing campaigns especially towards researchers working on COVID-19 research.

Please be vigilant when following links that attest to be from UTRGV to make sure you are not being directed to a fake website that appears to be our UTRGV login site.

For users desiring more information about COVID-19 Scams please reference this useful article published by Tripwire.

Sincerely,

The Information Security Office
