Bachelor of Science in Integrated Health Sciences (BSIHS)
The Bachelor of Science in Integrated Health Sciences (BSIHS) is a 120 Hour program designed to prepare graduates to obtain an entry-level position as a health science professional ready to work in a variety of places including: Community Health Agencies, Business and Educational Organizations, Public Health Departments, Nursing Homes, Retirement Residences, Home Health Agencies, Wellness/Fitness Centers, Schools, Hospitals, Medical Group Practices, Insurance Companies, Alcohol/Drug Treatment Programs and others.
The BSIHS also serves as the academic starting point for the competitive undergraduate, healthcare related, academic pathways requiring a secondary admission application offered in the Division of Health of Affairs including:
Lastly, this is a dynamic program that can be used to fulfill the requirements for most health-related professional graduate programs. Students will earn a Bachelors and have the flexibility within the major to complete most, if not all the prerequisite requirements for admission to many health-related professional graduate programs including PA, OT, PT, medicine, dentistry and more.
