TSAHP Student Leadership Opportunity
The Texas Society of Allied Health Professions (TSAHP) has recently developed a Student Leadership Program. Once a month one-hour conference calls and readings are listed below. The schedule for the calls will be determined by consensus of the Leadership Program class once participants are selected. Costs include travel to the TSAHP conference which will be sponsored by the Dean’s office.
The program begins in February 2020 and covers six chapters from the book, New Leadership for Today’s Health Care Professionals; Concepts and Cases . Below lists the chapters, the month of the session and the agenda for each of the six sessions. Ten students will be accepted into the program. Once all ten students have been identified, the time and date of each session will be finailized.

AGENDA
Each one-hour session includes:
- 15 minutes Chapter review
- 15 minutes Student discussion of chapter
- 10 minutes Ted Talk
- 10 minutes Ted Talk and chapter material overlap
- 10 minutes Review and Wrap-up
