Recognizing the importance of resources for academic success, we extend an invitation to students without personal computer access to leverage the Department of Computer Science Computer Lab. This specialized facility is outfitted with technology and software essential for coursework, providing an ideal space to tackle assignments, programming tasks, and other class-related projects. Whether you're exploring programming languages or need an environment for homework, our lab is dedicated to supporting your academic journey.

Edinburg - EIEAB 1.203
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Monday – Thursday

Brownsville - BLHSB 1.402 
11:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Monday – Thursday

  1. No food or drinks are allowed near the computers.
  2. Clean your area before leaving the lab.
  3. Loud noises and other disruptive behavior are discouraged.
  4. UTRGV Lab Consultants are not responsible for personal belongings.
  5. All computer users are required to log-on and log-off the computer.
  6. Downloading and/or installing software programs are prohibited. Ask Lab Consultants for assistance with this.
  7. Any information saved on the lab computers is not secure and will be erased at random times.
  8. Printing from computers is reserved for Computer Science/Computer Engineering Students.
  9. Printers are only available for academic applications associated with schoolwork and are limited to 15 double-sided pages.
  10. Any problem within the computer lab should be reported to the Lab Consultants on duty.
