To check the status of your undergraduate application, follow these simple steps:
Activate your UTRGV account
Go to myaccount.utrgv.edu and select the option that applies to you. There are step-by-step instructions and related articles to help you set up the account. If you need further assistance, contact our IT Help Desk at (956) 665-2020.
Log in to myUTRGV
Visit my.utrgv.edu and log in with your UTRGV credentials.
Go to the self-service portal ASSIST
Once you log into myUTRGV, click the ASSIST icon shown in the My Applications section.
View application status
If your admission status is not immediately available, click on “Admissions”

Your application has been reviewed, but some admission documents are still missing. Log in to Document Central to review your pending items.
In queue to be reviewed
Your application is complete and is under review. Freshman application review times may vary. Non-Freshman application reviews typically take around 7 days after the last document has been received.

Your application has been accepted!
UTRGV Joint Admission
Your application has been selected to participate in the Joint Admission program. Check your email for information about this status.
No recent undergraduate admissions application has been received.
No applications are on file for an upcoming term. If you recently applied, allow 2-3 business days for this status to be updated.
Not approved
Your application has not been accepted. Appeals are available online.
Withdrawn
You have chosen to withdraw your application from consideration.
