Conclusion
UTRGV is at the beginning of its evolution’s next stage. We have an exciting opportunity to establish UTRGV as the leading Hispanic-Serving Institution in the nation. To accomplish this, we must expand the scale and impact of our educational programs and research initiatives, continue to broaden access to healthcare in the region to improve health outcomes, and nurture the growth and development of the Rio Grande Valley through mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations.
To achieve these priorities, we will rely upon our UTRGV community to engage in a shared stewardship of the University’s future, as well as our unique set of existing programs, assets, capabilities, and partnerships – ranging from the Tuition Advantage program and the Luminary Scholarship program to the AHEC Scholars program and the Grow with Google Career Readiness program, among many others. We will make strategic investments in our people and in new programs, assets, capabilities, and partnerships that enable us to accelerate our growth and deepen our impact.
UTRGV, its students, and the surrounding communities within the Rio Grande Valley share in the prospect of a bright and fruitful future. And we are all essential in this story. Now is the time to work together to ensure our collective growth and benefit.
