Re-Apply to a Graduate Program
Students who have stopped out and have an inactive student status who wish to be readmitted to the UTRGV Graduate College and their previous program must start a readmission application here. Students may only use this application to return to graduate programs for which they have been previously admitted and enrolled. All students in an inactive status must reapply.
Please note the following:
*Students must formally apply to the graduate program and submit all admissions requirements if they:
- Were on academic suspension during their last term or
- Have been out of the graduate program for more than 5 years
* Please note that coursework for graduate degrees must be completed within the following time periods:
- Master's Students: 7 years
- Doctoral Students: 10 years
Your application for continuation in the graduate program will be forwarded to the corresponding program director for approval. Under certain circumstances, the program director may decide that the student needs to submit a new application for admission.
