Mr. Charlie Ticer
Bio
My main area of expertise in computer science involves the use of data in creating practical software applications and solving real-world problems in card and video games, the stock market, and live streaming services. Data science is the field of study and I am interested in how data science evolves the way we create, gather, manipulate, and analyze data in our daily lives.
As an educator in the technology field, I am extremely interested in how data impacts people to make better and more informed decisions as well as how technology continues to evolve and innovate the way data is accessible and usable within software applications. No matter the industry, data is everywhere and is a gateway into research of what else data can do for people in their daily lives for years to come. Card and video games, the stock market, and live streaming services are just some of the industries I am a part of to develop ground-breaking analytical problem-solving methods of understanding and using data.
I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas and have lived in the Rio Grande Valley throughout my life. In addition, some of my hobbies are playing Nintendo Switch games like Tetris 99, Pac-Man 99, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, watching programming streams on Twitch, and gambling in Las Vegas while on vacation.
