Student Activities provides unique experiences that enrich UTRGV student’s university/college experience. While proud to carry a legacy stemming back over 80 years across our region, as a new university, we are committed to the coordination of campus activities and lecture series, and instilling pride, tradition, and affiliation to the university.

The Distinguished Speaker Series, under the leadership of Student Activities, brings world-class speakers and lecturers to the university and surrounding community. Notable figures such as Mikhail Gorbachev, Madeleine Albright, Dr. Maya Angelou, Larry King, and John Legend have been featured, enriching the community with their insights and experiences.
