Karina Araiza

Karina Araiza has been a mathematics educator for more than fourteen years. She supports our local Rio Grande Valley Math Teacher's Circle because she believes everyone is a natural born mathematician and that the aesthetics of the mathematics art is worthy to be shared with and by all students, regardless of their age. As part of her teaching philosophy, she enjoys conveying the following antithesis to her students, mathematics is as simple as wishing for something and making it happen and as complex as the language that holds the answers to all questions in our universe. When she is not in school, she spends the most possible time with her family.
