Mission

The mission of the UTRGV Rio Grande Valley Regional Science and Engineering Fair (RGV RSEF) is to stimulate an understanding and appreciation of science and engineering concepts through a competition that supports student interest in a wide variety of science-related fields of study.

2019 Winners



Pablo Vidal, a junior at the UTRGV Mathematics & Science Academy, was named the Grand Champion in the high school division at the 59th annual Rio Grande Valley Regional Science and Engineering Fair (RGVRSEF) hosted by UTRGV on Sat., Feb. 2. He will compete at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, May 17-May 19, in Phoenix, Arizona.
