Program Overview
The Bachelor’s degree in Art provides students with an opportunity to express themselves using a variety of creative disciplines and methods within the visual arts. Students are prepared for such fields as Museum Studies, Gallery Management, Teaching, Studio Artist, Art Therapy, Fashion, Marketing, and Graduate Studies in Architecture. The program offers several concentrations.

What I love the most about UTRGV is that it gave me some of my best friends as well as incredible bonds with professors that I will cherish forever.

For me, being a Vaquero is my identity. It’s being able to represent the university with my studies and personality, but also be there for one another when something good occurs or when someone needs a hand. Being a Vaquero is being part of a huge family.
