Thank You for a Wonderful Season!
Thank you for joining us throughout our 2020-2021 season! We enjoyed sharing online events with you such as The Magic of Mariachi virtual art exhibit, 15 events through our Patron@Home series, and other special performances, including short Live from the Living Room performances and various video projects by the UTRGV mariachi program.
This was our most diverse season yet as we featured performances and events from the School of Art, the Dance Program, and the Department of Theatre! Although we were unable to host events in person, we were glad to inspire hope through the arts, especially during these times, without geographical limitations. Anyone with an internet connection was able to enjoy the talent and hard work at the UTRGV College of Fine Arts!

We will communicate our plans for the 2021-2022 season after careful evaluation of the world pandemic. In the meantime, and we encourage you to follow us on social media and subscribe to our email newsletter to continue being a part of our community from wherever you are!

An excerpt from Spanish Nights 2018, a dance production presented by UTRGV Ballet Español, Mario’s performance is an exciting blend of intense rumba flamenco rhythms, seasoned with impassioned, soul-stirring melodies.
In Case You Missed It
The Bowery Trio is thrilled to work with UTRGV in safely collaborating to present this pre-recorded recital, which is the first opportunity the Bowery Trio has had to perform together in-person since early February of 2020.
The title “Spring Soirée: New Beginnings” is a representation of the music world beginning to bloom again after the pandemic and starting together as a trio on this path of healing until we can finally make music together again for a live audience. It also relates to the recital program itself, which is comprised of new and underperformed works that will provide a refreshing experience for the audience’s palate.
