ZOOM - Now Available!
Zoom is now available for your online video conferencing needs. Zoom makes it easy to hold impromptu or scheduled meetings, teach online courses, and conduct training. Zoom provides HD video and audio, along with cross-platform and mobile support.
Get started with Zoom
Install the Zoom Client and Outlook Plug-In to schedule meetings:
- UTRGV Computers: Faculty and staff can install Zoom on a UTRGV computer using Software Center.
- Personal Computers/Mobile Devices: Go to zoom.us/download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings and Zoom Plug-In for Microsoft Outlook.
When Zoom first launches, sign in using the Single Sign-On (SSO) option. At the domain prompt, leave “utrgv” filled in and then enter your UTRGV username and password.
To join a meeting as a participant without using the Zoom application, use the meeting link provided or go to utrgv.zoom.us. Then, click on Join and enter the meeting ID provided. When prompted, download and run the Zoom browser plug-in (administrator rights are not required).
