About
The UTRGV Student Food Pantry supports currently enrolled students experiencing hunger or food insecurity. If you are a current UTRGV student, you can enroll online or stop by the food pantry during distribution hours.
How does it work?
Every time you visit the food pantry you will be asked to check-in at the front desk and provide information about the foods that are currently in stock.
How is it funded?
The UTRGV Student Food Pantry is under the auspices of the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley. Its funding is possible through year-round charitable fundraising events and donations. If you are interested in student volunteering opportunities, click here. For community members seeking to volunteer/coordinate a food drive or fundraising event, contact us via email at foodpantry@utrgv.edu or call 956-665-3663.
You may also qualify for food stamps and/or other social services. Our staff can assist you with the application.
