FILM STUDIES = VISUAL LITERACY. The Minor in Film Studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley provides a strong background in film analysis while also providing a unique opportunity for students to develop expertise in Visual Literacy, an elemental skill that is becoming increasingly important for college graduates in a growing number of professions.
