Jocelyn Pineda is a dynamic leader whose background in military operations, business strategy, and higher education uniquely positions her to support and elevate faculty development initiatives. Jocelyn brings a results-driven mindset to her role, shaped by her experience as a Logistics Officer in the Texas Army National Guard. She oversaw complex supply chains, led logistical planning for dynamic operations, and managed multimillion-dollar assets across multiple missions. Her ability to coordinate people, resources, and timelines under pressure reflects a leadership style rooted in precision, adaptability, and collaboration—skills that translate seamlessly into any mission or academic pursuit. At UTRGV, Jocelyn has overseen key programs such as the Faculty Senate and assisted with the complex organization of the Faculty Portfolio Tool, ensuring that faculty governance and professional contributions are supported with precision and care. She’s known for streamlining operations, developing standardized processes, and producing data-driven reports that inform institutional decision-making. Her academic foundation includes a Master of Business Administration in Management and a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, both from UTRGV. She’s currently pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, further reinforcing her commitment to excellence in organizational leadership.
