He holds an M.A. in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University and a B.A. in Communication from UT Permian Basin. His academic work explores faculty roles, organizational communication, and the evolving nature of academic labor—topics he’s published on in journals like Competition Forum and the Quarterly Review of Business Disciplines. Bryan’s professional journey at UTRGV includes roles in the College of Liberal Arts, UTRGV Athletics, and now Faculty Affairs, where he plays a key role in managing application review systems, professional development programming, and strategic communications. His presentations on topics like organizational bias, information deserts, and productivity systems have become staples in UTRGV’s Certified Public Manager Program. Whether he’s analyzing communication patterns and impact or helping streamline institutional processes, Bryan’s work is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and a deep respect for the faculty experience. He’s also a familiar voice in the Rio Grande Valley sports community, having served as a broadcast analyst for UTRGV Athletics and RGV FC Toros.
