MonoMyth is a business of mine that allows artists and readers alike to join in a community of creating and supporting upcoming manga. It’s a website and app that gives every creative individual an opportunity to get their stories and art out into the public eye. It’s a chance to express your own story-telling and grants you access into a space where your work will be seen and noticed. Art gets lost in social media that’s full of different categories, ranging from blogging, photography, traditional and digital art, memes, engineering, car shows, AMVs, etc. I’m here to introduce a safe space for upcoming creators who need a place where they can rest and rely on a community that all share a unified passion or interest. You don’t have to worry about your work being lost in the website because every submission is posted at the top of the page. If you are concerned about your work getting lost in the collected busyness of creators submitting over time, understand that we will not let your creation go unnoticed. We will have page reboots where the work that was posted earlier into the day will be filtered to the top of the page again. This cycle will happen periodically, so everyone’s manga will be noticed. If that wasn’t enough, we will set filters such as the date the works were submitted and genre of the manga you’re looking for, so if a year or more pass you can still find the manga that have existed since the launch of the website. I see it as a wonderful archive that hold’s humanities unified language of text and illustration all stored within a protected and healthy environment where it can grow and blossom.
Let me introduce to you our websites special feature known as Manga Rank. With enough support from readers or viewers an artists manga becomes more credible the higher their Manga Rank is. This ranked is illustrated as stars. Everyone starts off with zero, but the day you submit your own manga you enter Manga Rank One which gives you one star. You receive a higher rank based on the support you receive and the effort you put into your own work. Every time you rank up you will receive an additional star. The highest ranked manga gets financial support from us in helping them get their manga published in stores. We hope this will encourage creatives to start creating and putting their passion to the pen. We will oversee every manga submitted to our website, so know that even upon submission you are seen and noticed.
