Artist Statement
The way I tackle my projects is based on what topics it is given to me to make that project possible. That is how I think about what colors are appropriate. Colors are important to showcasing to the public, it is one of the main cores to make the audience have a certain feel. Next up is the type used for this work goes hand in hand with colors but in this case the font is coexisting, and images that would make a successful but not just any type of image it has to in sync with other two mentioned. Often, I go through lots of trial and error with the sketches I make in the process, eventually figure out what makes sense for this particular project. Once I get passed that hurtle next it's all about the context on what slogan or the message of this project. Research what other companies do for their audience, it is important to understand from the point of view of the viewers and ask yourself, does this make sense? Make it clear for the target audience that you think will be interested in your work. Not everyone will be interested just the certain demographic audience you are trying to communicate. If possible, the work can be improved for the overall message then I tweak it a bit. Having all those elements into the design it tends to be successful. For whatever reason it doesn’t then change it until it clear for you but to the public. It's just matter of practice and experience to get the flow of designing on anything you work on.
As a Graphic Designer I tend to keep my work as simple as possible, when tackling the projects I work on. Of course, my main goal is for clients and viewers to understand what is in front of them through simple storytelling with images and words. I don’t like to go over the top with the topics I'm trying to do, it creates confusion among people. In this modern age, design is very important for us to communicate very well. Especially when our attention span is very little we tend to move on and forget what was presented to us. Thats where I come in as a Graphic Designer, I keep it simple, open about my work and hopefully memorable for viewers like you.
