Artist Statement
Art is something that we all like but few of us can develop, I started drawing and painting the walls of my room with drawings of anime like Goku or Inuyasha with one of my sisters, unlike my parents, who focused more to the fruit export business, I wanted to go down a different path, although to get to that path, I had to deviate to study International Business, and when I managed to finish the degree that my parents wanted, I started the career that I wanted.
The truth is that before I was 14 I never had an inclination towards art, I was more focused on cartoons and being with friends playing soccer, but at the age of 14, I had the opportunity to go to Italy for 2 years to studying, in those 2 years I fell in love with art, I lived in a very small city called “Val Camonica”, a province of Brescia in Italy, an hour and a half from Milan, although it was a town, they still preserved a lot of art from before the second world war, so I was able to appreciate things that cannot be seen on this side of the world, I visited Florence, Venice, Rome, Palermo, other countries and places like Paris, Switzerland, Auschwitz, etc., a completely different world far from the modernity and close to perfection.
From that day, I understood that art is people's feelings, but that, not knowing how to express those feelings with words, they do it through paintings, sculptures, drawings or illustrations, and art exists everywhere, and comes from all forms, in particular I focus more on graphic design and I focus more on the modernist style, although the arrival of artificial intelligence has made us believe that artists are less and less necessary, the reality is that as artists we can use the same intelligences to improve and create more and better things.
