Exhibit Work

I have always been entangled with the arts. My sister got into art first and everyone was always fascinated with her, since she was naturally talented, so as younger siblings do, I copied her and went down the art route too. At first, I wasn’t good at all with drawing and creating anything worthwhile, but after years of practice I got good at drawing and coloring with color pencils.
When I entered high school, my whole life changed. I took a film class and through that class, I found out about graphic design and saw that there was a class being held over the summer to get certified in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I thought graphic design was so life-changing for me because I was very tech savvy and I love computers. This was the way I could combine art and computers! I learned so much from that class. Not just the software itself but some life lessons as well. One thing I still live by is that the best way to learn something is to explore and find out on your own rather than immediately looking for tutorials or asking for help right off the bat. When I left high school, I made a vow to myself. That what I design and create will make people say “wow” and leave a strong impression on them. I strongly believe in aesthetics and creating things that are visually pleasing and unique.
I strive to stand out from a crowd and create designs and works that will be talked about excitedly and have my work hung up on someone’s wall as inspiration or used as a wallpaper for their home or lock screen. From there, I really grew as a designer and developed my skills and my own preferences in style and aesthetics, but even to this day those things are being challenged and I’m still getting introduced to new concepts and trends really do keep me on my feet.
