Exhibit Work
Jewelry is an essential part of society. In some it shows status, for some it shows relationship status, and for many helps boost mood or matches an outfit. The jewelry I create means even more than that. Crafted with stones and crystals, the pieces that I create do more than just look great, they have all their own unique abilities. If you are looking for jewelry that isn’t found in stores, that is not on every model, that is not basic, that is what I aspire to create. My jewelry is unique, fun, and has an alternative flair fit for anyone who isn’t mainstream who wants to stand out from the crowd.
My intentions for this exhibition are to showcase a few key pieces of my jewelry, show a branding identity, and create an advertisement poster. I will display a few pieces, up to four, on jewelry stands on a podium. Additionally, I am creating a poster to promote jewelry made by me. My poster will also showcase the Lyz Nyx logo and identity that I have created for my jewelry making. This exhibition will bring full circle my studio art and graphic design skills. I am excited to show everyone some of my favorite pieces that I handcrafted within the past year. My poster made this semester integrates both my passion for photography and graphic design skills.
