Artist Statement
My interest in the arts has been a constant throughout my life, stemming from my childhood. Since my earliest memories, I've found that a natural inclination towards creativity has been an integral part of who I am. This innate creative instinct has not only shaped my interests but has also been a driving force behind my pursuits and decisions, leading me to explore and engage with the arts as a means of self-expression and personal fulfillment. Among its various forms, the visual aspect has consistently drawn my attention, sparking a keen interest in a field marked by boundless creativity. It is in this dynamic environment that I have found inspiration, driven by the belief that the visual arts offer a unique platform for self-expression and communication.
As I navigated through different interests while growing up, the arts remained a steady presence—an admiration observed from a distance and lightly explored. Nevertheless, the enduring impact of art on my life prompted me to take a decisive step. Recognizing its significance, I chose to pursue a creative field, driven by the intention to delve deeper into my interests and foster personal growth, both as an individual and as an artist. Seen in my work, the deliberate choice of color schemes reflects a thoughtful intention of distilling the essence of visual expression to its fundamental elements. The juxtaposition of monochromatic tones symbolizes the core of simplicity, while the selective use of color represents the dynamic nature of creative expression.
