Exhibit Work

In today’s world, it is easy to get distracted, busy, and take on too many responsibilities. Often saying “yes” and agreeing to too many projects, some of which we cannot handle due to the stress caused by other tasks one might be juggling at the same time.

My capstone project is a combination of two things. First, my passion for crafting brand identities. It is an art form that I fell in love with as soon as I discovered it with my first brand identity ever created: Elleven. It is an art form that I want to make an impact on my community with. Crafting an intuitive, professional-looking, and functional identity that has real-world applications. Second, my deep fear of forgetting to stay a kid at heart. Ironically enough, when we are kids, we cannot wait to grow up. All the ice cream we could have, all the toys we could buy ourselves, and all the money and therefore freedom we will have. This is the dream. Moving forward a couple of decades, most of us relate to wanting to go back. All the fun we had. All the times we played, and our imagination was the only limit. All the freedom from the lack of responsibility. That was the dream, yet we did not see it.

While this project can be narrowed down to these two main ideas, it is much more than that. It is a self-expression of my passion for the metaphysical, the occult, the foreign, the deep truths we cannot comprehend about the universe. It contains my deep longing to attend an academy that teaches these very principles. Such principles that at their essence, there is no other term to describe them other than “Magic.” This is the brand identity of the academy of my dreams. This is my dream.
