Artist Statement
When it comes to creating a piece of art, it boils down to how much time and dedication you put into it rather than the message. You can have the most heart-wrenching message in your piece and. people would still rather focus on the subject in front of their eyes. It can be challenging to create something that you feel proud of or even contemptuous with. There are times when even taking a leap of faith to start a piece can be hard. Or to even make an artwork that seems like it is what only you have thought was original and out of the box.
I had moments where I felt like I was stuck in a challenging position when it comes to being creative with a positive direction. I always try to do my best by thinking outside of the box and focusing on how I know a crowd will react. I love to create regardless of if i feel stuck. In the end, being able to make art that comes from the heart is what keeps me going. It is my oxygen and it is my reason to breathe.
