Artist Statement
I’ve always had a passion for creating, I enjoyed the thrill of brainstorming and experimenting on new artworks. My admiration for artists who I admired, sparked the flame for my newfound creativity. I surrounded myself with the arts, in music, drawing, painting, I wanted to discover something that would challenge my imagination. My enthusiasm spiraled into discovering graphic design, I was amazed at how boundless design was and how it revolved all around us. I grew to love design and dived into the career path that would open my eyes to a whole new world.
There exists a realm that only artists can create in their works, it’s that connection between the viewer and the creator. My goal as a designer is to visualize people’s passions and create that connection in my designs. When someone looks at my work, I want them to feel joy and excitement in my creations, to feel the thought and emotions that were a part of my process. My methodology as a designer is a process of brainstorming, research, more research and design. I put a lot of thought into creating something, and in clearly structuring my ideas. The self-accomplishment that I feel after pouring myself into a project, is rewarding and joyful knowing someone else feels that same way about my work.
