Exhibit Work

For my exhibit, I chose to create an Artbook, more specifically a Concept Artbook; concept art is art created during the pre-production of a project, whether that be a movie, comic, video game, tv show, etc. I was always curious about the process that went into the creation of these different forms of media, so with concept art the audience can gain a deeper view into what the artist had originally planned for a project and how it has, or hasn’t changed over time.

For now I’ve kept it simple and stuck to a few character designs for this book. Character design has always been my favorite aspect of project creation, even though I myself am not the greatest illustartor, I enjoy character design the most because not every artist will design the same character similarly. It is always a joy seeing what some people will create when starting a project. So for my own exhibit, I wanted to give a bit of insight into what I go through when creating for my own series.
