In my exhibit, I have made a poetry book. I chose the genre poetry since it helped me gain a love for reading as well as a better understanding of my family. I chose to do a book since I am interested in publishing book covers and thought here would be a wonderful place to start. I have collected a series of poems that were written by my family and designed an illustration inspired by the poem it rests on. Along with the book cover and pages, we can see an audio version of the poetry book as a cassette tape that shares similar designs with the bookmarkers.
