I became involved in art when I was younger when I started watching television and became enamored of the shows popular of the times. I initially wanted to become a voice actor and a singer, but as I got older, I decided to do more of the design aspect and things in the background. Video games are involved in art as well. You can tell a lot about the game based on the cover picture, storyline, characters, design, and how these concepts all tie in together. Movies played into my aspiring craft because, like many things, you can tell a lot about the film simply by looking at their posters and covers. Looking at covers or posters, we can get a promising idea of what we should take from it based solely on the design. My interest became part of communication design because our attention focuses on what piques our interest and what is visually appealing to us when we look around us. Item design is developed to people's attention and entices them to engage in/or gravitate towards it.
My philosophy regarding my work is essential to influence society and that one day positively, and my art can tell its own story. I feel my art should communicate a story in its imaginative components, from colors and shapes to harmonizing with each other. I want people to know the whole story and understand what art is about. I want my art to spark conversation and debate and for people to talk about a piece and discuss how it speaks to them and what it says about me as a creator. I want to become a successful artist who can emit feeling, emotion, and passion through their work. I try to be open-minded to other artists' interpretations, work methods, and ideas. I try to learn from their creations and techniques and figure out how to put my learnings into my art. I want to see how other artists' work together achieves their desired results.
My methodology of creating and designing art is through various sources of inspiration. I enjoy listening to different songs and music genres. My choice of music usually depends on the mood that I am in now. Listening to the rhythms and beats and imagining what that song would look like visually. When I look for inspiration, I also look at other artists' work on the internet and understand their creative styles and expressions. I look to see what I can learn from their works effectively, take my new learning, and figure out ways to incorporate them into my work. I do not mean to say that I plagiarize people's work, but I simply try to understand the people's interpretation when creating their work and then creating my work. I also tried to imagine what the artist felt when doing their job to help me. I like to experiment with ideas that I develop from looking at other people's work and developing concepts of my own that I could put into my piece.
