This project was developed in response to the outdated approaches common in the adult doll collector market, where packaging relies heavily on plastics and branding often feels stagnant or disconnected from contemporary culture. In a world where technology is rapidly evolving, many people feel uncertain about the future, and design has the responsibility to help frame that change as exciting rather than intimidating. I identified the opportunity to create packaging and branding that not only reduces waste but also embraces technological evolution in a way that feels high-end, consistent, and forward-looking.
The design concept focuses on developing innovative, plastic-free doll packaging supported by a cohesive brand identity system. The goal is to create packaging that functions both as a sustainable container and an elegant display piece, while maintaining a unified visual language across logo, typography, and color. Through research, iteration, and material exploration, I designed a system that prioritizes ecological responsibility while embracing technology as an integrated part of the brand experience.
The intended audience for this project is adult collectors who value design-driven products that feel refined, sustainable, and progressive. The outcome demonstrates how collectible packaging can elevate a product into a premium brand experience while addressing environmental concerns and embracing innovation responsibly. This project reflects my professional goals in brand identity, packaging, and sustainable design, while also positioning me to work at the intersection of technology and creative direction.
