Despite the various classes throughout my college education, one thing that truly stayed constant was my trusty planner. Always reminding me of upcoming due dates, presentations, and events. Through all the chaos, it was my anchor, my rock-solid foundation, my faithful companion, and what helped me stay sane under the overwhelming pressure as a first-generation student.

A habit I picked up in high school, using stationery has been a way to make mundane tasks into something to look forward to. Not only did it help me have control of my schoolwork, but it worked in achieving a healthy balance between school, work, and personal life. What I looked forward to the most was being able to cross out a task with stickers or colorful highlighters. Seeing how slowly my to-do list would fill up with color would give me motivation to continue until everything on that list was finished. Another detail I love about stationery is the wide variety of colors, shapes, and sizes in pretty much everything. Having the option to choose from so much helps in tailoring your stationery to your style! I believe this is important since in my experience, it helps me claim new spaces as my own. It was like bringing a little piece of my room to the classroom and it made me feel more comfortable and at ease in this new environment at the start of every semester. Having access to something familiar made it easier to open up to other students as well since it is a great conversation starter. Having so many positive experiences with using stationery, I wanted to create a brand that would allow others access to the very same tools that helped me succeed.

Though very commonly used by the collegiate demographic, I think stationery is a great tool for any aspect of life. Stationery can be a mother's planner to keep track of upcoming appointments, it can be a memo pad that brings personality to your bland office space, or even a doctor's office where your colorful pens can start a conversation between a pediatrician and a chila This project is to remind others about the endless possibilities and impact something as small and simple as stationery can make. Lastly, I took this project as an opportunity to say thank you for the item that made possible to complete my degree.
