This is an official USCF-rated tournament open to all current USCF members. USCF rules and regulations will be strictly adhered to. All players must have current USCF membership to play. Current USCF regular ratings will be used. USCF memberships/renewals will be handled at this tournament. Time control is G/25; d5.
Registration deadline is Friday, February 24th at 4.00 pm. Only one ½-point bye may be requested. Other byes will be 0-point.

Sections will be created at TD’s discretion based on registrations. Players may not select what section to play in. All sections and pairings are final once they are posted.
Entry fee of $5.00 (free for UTRGV staff/faculty/students) can only be paid online.
No Cash/Checks will be accepted. Winners receive free entry to next UTRGV Chess Friday Night Swiss Tournament they choose to attend.
First round starts on Friday 24th at 6 pm. Other rounds will begin immediately upon completion of previous round. Boards & pieces will be provided.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Visitor Parking Permit (up to 3 free daily permits and thereafter $1.00/day)
