Information Systems Concentration
The Information Systems concentration provides students with strong research skills that allow them to produce high quality research pertaining to the theoretical and empirical developments in the areas of information systems and emerging information technologies. Students specializing in this area conduct high quality research on topics such as business analytics, social media, information privacy and security, as well as health information systems. Area faculty have published in high quality information systems journals such as Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, European Journal of Information Systems, Information and Management, Decision Support Systems among others.
